I need your help to make this (MK)Stitch
Hi there,
I need your help to understand this stitch. The pattern calls it (MK). They describe the stitch, but I don't fully understand how to make it. Can you explain it in a more simple way. I'm a beginning knitter.

Here is the way their stitch glossary on the ball band explains the stitch.

MK = P2tog without slipping sts off needle, then K2tog over same sts.

Thanks in advance!!

It's a free pattern on Bernat Softee Baby Label, and it's called
"My Favorite Blue/White Blanket"

Do it exactly as it says. Purl 2 sts together, but leave them on the left needle. Move your yarn to the back and knit them, then left them slip off the needle.

Thank you suzeeq!!!

Now I understand it since you said 'move your yarn to the back and knit them'... that's the part I wasn't getting, and I guess the pattern writer assumed that I knew to do that. Duh is me! I suppose I made it harder than it was by trying to over the process. Thanks again!

Well, since you need to have your yarn in back for a knit stitch...
