Well, I guess this is as good a time as any to talk about SAFF.
The Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair, which takes place in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.

SAFF 2007 takes place on
Friday, October 26th, 9am to 6pm;
Saturday, October 27th 9am to 6pm; and
Sunday, October 28th, 9am to 4pm.
Admission is free on Friday.
On Saturday & Sunday the fee will be $2/person for 13 yrs. & older (no charge for 12 yrs. and under).
Tickets purchased on Saturday may be reused on Sunday.
They offer free Child Care (for toddlers & older) on Saturday & Sunday in Kids' Alley
I go every year, and always have a BLAST!
There are lots of yarn vendors, spinning displays, fiber animals, and cool classes.
Two years ago, I took "Beginning Knitting", and learned some things I didn't already know.
Last year, I took "Beginning Spinning", and learned how to make better yarn. (see me there on the back row?)
