Dog Jumpers
I am trying to find a very simple pattern to make a jumper for a dog! I am a beginner at knitting and only know how to do a few things: cast on, bind off, basic knitting and I think I have the hang of purl and knitting two stitches together!

I just want a pullover style I suppose with a hole for her head and a bit of a long neck that I can turn back and two or four legholes.

even if you don't know of a pattern, any tips on making the legholes etc would be great!

also, is it possible to make the whole thing in one go or is it necessary to knit two separate pieces and then stitch them together afterwards?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Here's a pattern. You might want to go to the Pattern Central forum here as well to get others' ideas.

Kerry, I have loved this pattern, it is for a "chiwuawua" (originally) but look at the photos, you can adapt the pattern easily... for dogs small and large!! Good Luck

My husband bought me a book last year called "Posh Pooches" and it's filled with patterns for dogs. It came in a set with a pair of bamboo needles, as well.
