3rd & 4th FO!!! Felted Indian Pottery Bag & Scarf
This past week, I finished my 3rd and 4th items. The felted bag was actually very easy and I enjoyed learning about knitting in the round. I used Lopi Icelandic Wool in Fire Tweed on sz. 13 circulars.

The scarf is for my Mom for Christmas. It is in Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick Charcoal with a crochet border in Fisherman. I used sz. 15 needles and sz. K crochet hook.

We could learn a lot from crayons:some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names,
and all are different colors....
but they all exist very nicely in the same box.

The bag was very easy. The hardest part for me was picking up stitches after I started the bottom of the bag. I knit very tight, so I used really small DPNs to open up the stitches a bit before I tried putting the circulars through. This was a pattern that I got in a class I am taking, but I could scan it and email to you if you'd like. Just PM me your email address and I will be happy to send it to you!

I love both, but the bag is just great! Is it already felted? It is hard to tell on my computer?

Yes - it is already felted, but it doesn't look exactly like I had hoped. My friend, who is teaching the knitting class that I am taking, said that because I knit so tightly it was harder to felt. I probably should have gone up a sz. or two in needles to get the felted look that I wanted. HTH!
