i am looking for a free pattern KNITTING for a newsboy cap. i can't find any. please i know there is one in berrocco, i already saw but not the one thank you

Are you on Ravelry? If so you can just search for newsboy under patterns.

I found that Stitch & Bitch Nation has a pattern - you might be able to get the book from your library if you don't have it.

That's where I got my pattern from. Unfortunately, when I looked for a free knitting pattern some time ago, I couldn't find one, but I was able to find many free crocheted patterns. I did a pretty good job of scouring the internet for a knitting pattern back when I looked, so I'd say that trying to get a copy of the SnB book at your library might be your best bet.

There is also a great, easy pattern in The Knitters Bible, Knitted Accessories. Its called the weeekender cap and I made it in a day. Here are the pics:
