Giant Head! Earflap Hat Pattern Needed
Hi again,
I am desperate to find an earflap hat for a very brainy guy. This means he has lots of brains and therefore a huge head
Circumference is a whopping 25" - yes, I really mean it....
I can't find a pattern for a chullo, or earflap hat that tops 23" and just wonder if there are any other wonderful fellas out there who've found a hat that sits just right?
Oh please, oh please, oh please?
thanks, Jan

This hat calculator might help: http://www.thedietdiary.com/blog/lucia/513

Or - can you find a hat big enough, even w//out earflaps and add the them on.

These are a little crazy, but there's no reason you can't just use it as a guide and make simpler one. It's knit from the top down so you could just increase more to fit his head and then figure where the flaps go based on how many extra you had to increase.

Hat Generator Wonderment!
Hi, and thanks to you for your suggestions. I've had a good look at the patterns and gererators and I think I'll have a go both at the pattern maker, and the clever idea of knitting a hat that fits first and adding earflaps. This way I might be able to create something that will be both loved and worn. If I do it this way, I can pick my own yarn and take it from there. What could be better?
