I used a darning needle and some wool to stick 2 pieces of knitting together, is this correct? It looks a bit messy, so is there a way to do it so you get a nice pattern? maybe X-shapes or something, because I like to use a contrasting colour, to make the ''stitching'' like a feature, Thanks!
