Snowme by Alan Dart

Here's my little snowme from Simply Knitting and Alan Dart... (a mix of snowman and gnome) isn't he cute? I had fun making him. He used 1 entire skein of the Sirdar Snowflake Chunky on the larger needles.



His hat and scarf are actually red and green, darn those flourescent lights! and yes, he's taller than the 0.5 liter water bottle there for scale. the ones in the magazine pattern I think were made with the thinner yarn choice, so they are smaller.

hint- do NOT try to sew with the chunky snowflake. I tried, it wasn't pretty. white thread!!
