Confused by pattern

I am making a little purse and I just started..

Says to CO 30 stitches
Purl 1st row and then the confusing part:

Row 2: K2, M1, Knit to last 4 stitches, M1, K2 (32 stitches)

In my head it seems I will end up with 2 un-stitch stitches if I only k2 in the end on that row. Am I stupid?

Row 4 calls for the same thing.

What does row 3 say? Otherwise it may by a typo in that you should K to the last 2 stitches and M1 so you'll still have 32 stitches. What's the rest of the pattern like? Seems silly to CO 30 then add just 2 stitches in the next row unless there's more increases coming in later rows? Would you mind sharing? You've got me curious!!

This is the purse I am making. Just to maybe make things easier to imagine.

I am making it in red and without the sequins.

Anyways.. It is a kinda "busy" pattern but this is the beginning anyways;

CO 30
Row 1: purl
Row 2: K2, M1, knit to last 4 stitches, M1, K2 (32 stitches)
Row 3: purl
Row 4: K2, M1, knit to last 4 stitches, M1, K2 (34 stitches)
Row 5, 7, 9, 11, 13: purl
Row 6, 8, 10, 12: knit
Row 14: K2, SSK, knit to last 4 stitches, K2tog, K2 (32 stitches)
Row 15, 17, 19: purl
Rows 16, 18: knit
Row 20: K2, SSK, Knit to last 4 stitches, K2tog, K2 (30 stitches)
Then you are supposed to repete row 15-20 2 times..

It goes on..

Dunno if one can end up in trouble for posting a whole pattern that I have bought so this isn't quite all of it.

I agree, ignore the `last 4 sts' and knit to the last 2. Even if it was supposed to be a kfb inc, you'd still knit only to the last 3, kfb in the next st, then k2.
