converting pattern from circular to flat?
If I wanted to do this pattern on straights instead of a circular what would I do? I saw this pattern on this forum and just love it!

For whatever size you use, you'll need to add 1 st each side of the pattern for the seam. So for rows 2 and 4 there will be an extra k1 before the lace pattern begins, but don't include it in the repeat, and the rows will have 1 extra st to knit at the end. On the odd numbered rows, reverse the st - Row 1 says purl, you knit; rows 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 say knit, you purl. Then with Row 14 you're going to stockinette - knit on RS, purl on WS. Then follow the directions until the end, pull your tail through the remaining 6 sts (twice is good) then use the rest of it to seam the edges.
