Looking for an ankle length coat pattern.

I'm looking for an ankle length coat, jacket or cardigan pattern. It can be crocheted or knitted.

I want to do this for my sister for christmas...please point me in the right direction. Thank you

Ankle length...

I've not seen one that long, but I'm sure they are available somewhere. You can start looking here..

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

Here's a pattern I came across in my search for you. It's on CPC but it's hard to find.
It's crocheted (only one I could find that was full length and didn't look like a glorified bathrobe). I hope this will help ya hun.
Happy knitting!!! Now go n get knotty

How about this one?

I am not obsessed, I'm just highly pre-occupied!

The book Domiknitrix has a couple of coat patterns you could easily alter to be floor length, I liked them a lot. You should see if your library has a copy.

Here are a couple:

This one is about $7 (US): Flicca. It doesn't go all the way down to the ankle, but you could lengthen it.

Louhi, you have to scroll down to see more detailed pictures.

Good luck, that's a lot of knitting or crocheting to get in before Christmas!
