I made two of these for my daughter to give as gifts to a couple friends. They are from the book Mason Dixon Knitting. She picked out the yarn and ribbons. I love how they came out even though I hate sewing ribbons to knitting. Maybe I'll try a button next time for the outside..

I used Caron Simply Soft in Grape and Watermelon.

Very cute. I can just picture a little one wearing that. Grape! I love it. So many people just knit plain pastel colours for babies. Right now I have an order for a white outfit. Oh well! Great job Jan!!!

Awww, so cute! I wonder how well they fit an actual baby? I don't think the book shows them on a model. At any rate, what a wonderful gift for your daughter to give to her friends. I'm sure they will be much loved and admired!
