pointy hat
How is it again that you prevent a hat from having a point at the tip?
I made a hat for my granddaughter and it came out with a point! I followed the instructions, but still have the pointy tip

It would need to have the last few decrease rows done more often. such as every row instead of every alternate row.
or omit the last few decrease rows and just do k2tog all around for a row or 2 before finishing off.
