Changing pattern to knitting in the round?
I've done this before with a fairly simple sweater pattern for my daughter, but I want to make this sweater:http://www.crystalpalaceyarns.com/cp...le-unisex.html
and I'd like to change it to make it knit in the round up to the armholes. I'd like to keep it somewhat fitted though, do you think I'd need to leave off any of the stitches that are supposed to be seam allowance? If so, how many on each side?

Seam allowance is usually one on each edge of the seam, so you'd take out 4 for knitting in the round. Remember that you'll have to reverse the wrong side stitches, also.

One nice thing about knitting something like this from the bottom up is that you can put half the stitches on another needle to try it on to make sure it's the right size before you get too far.
