Wanting to do Kitchner stitch but...
On a scarf I'm winging, but I have 2 stitches on either side that are garter stitch, then the pattern in the center. I want to attach both together using this technique but how would I do that, with the 2 knit stitches at the ends, without losing the look? The reason I ask is because I'm knitting Hearts, but to have both panels of hearts going in the same direction, I have to make 2 panels and seam at the top center. I'm making this pattern up as I go along..
TIA!
