It has been brought to my attention that some people are upset I started this swap as they felt it was their turn to start one.
I can only say 'I'm sorry'. I really didn't mean to upset anyone or step on any toes.
I therefore feel it wouldn't be fair to go on with swap. I do appreciate that a lot of have joined up and am sorry for letting people down, but I don't WANT to hurt peoples feelings and feel upset that I have.
If anyone wants to take over I will send you the questioners I have had so far.
Can't there be more than one swap going on at a time? Especially if they are different kinds...some require you knit something, some don't, some are themed, some are focused on a particular item (socks/dishrags). I don't know the mods/Amy's feelings on this but I, personally, don't see the problem with multiple swaps going on. You just pick which one(s) in which you want to participate and everyone has fun.
OR if there IS only to be one swap at a time, perhaps we could do a thread where want-to host people can "sign up" and when their name comes up it is their turn to host that way there is a line. Sounds like a bit of a pain and extra work, but... just tossing out ideas.
Sorry you are catching flack. I hope everything works out...for all.

A member asked that one of the mods step in. There are no rules regarding swaps. There can be multiple swaps going on at the same time, the more the merrier. However. There is a rule against harassment, either public or private. Please promptly report any communication that could be considered to fall in or near this category. I sent a pm to Ellie advising her of this and telling her to send on any pm of this nature to a mod.
