FO - Orca Tails! *squee*
Pic 1 Pic 2
I'm so happy! Just had to show off!

Orca Tails Pattern
The project on Ravelry

I love this pattern. It's easy to remember and I think it looks really nice. I made this in Noro Silk Garden, colourway 246. I finally understand why people love Noro. I wasn't impressed the first time I felt it in the store but the colours are so beautiful and after washing it softens up and gets ever-so-slightly fuzzy and has a wonderful texture.

I'm giving it away for Christmas and I'm so afraid the recipient isn't going to love it as much as I do. She's a sweet lady but I don't know if she understands handknitted gifts. Oh well. I guess I'll find out. Definitely making another one for myself in Kureyon some day.

On The Needles:
Widdershins socks - Knitpicks Bare
Garter stitch scarf - Knitpicks Suri Dream (so soft, but what a PITA to work with!)
Feather and Fan Scarf - Patons SWS, on the needles for a year now. Will it ever be done? Who knows?

Very pretty! I'm printing out the pattern right now--somebody's gonna get one of these (or maybe just me ).

Why don't you cast one on for you right now!!!! It's a beautiful scarf! Congratulations on a job well done!!! I did the rainbow scarf in Noro Kureyon, and it softened up wonderfully too. :O) Great scarf! samm
