Kindergarten Sweater
I started this sweater over the summer for my GS Jayden. I finally got it finished in time to give to him on Thanksgiving. He started kindergarten this fall and when I took him school shopping he was really into picking out clothes because he "wanted to look handsome" when he went to school.
Luckily, the sweater passed his handsome test and he loved it!
It's Caron Simply Soft Tweed in autumn red.

The pattern was a free pattern from the Bernat site.
http://www.bernat.com/

You have to join/register to get the free patterns. It's the Child's Star Sweater. It's a basic crew neck sweater with a star on the front, which I skipped.
I still have it saved as a pdf file. let me know if you're interested.

WOW - that's incredible !! For me knitting a sweater is like running a marathon....something I admire others for having the drive to do, but not something I ever plan on completing.
Congrats to you it's gorgeous and he looks awful happy to have received it.

Great job! Your GS really does look snappy.

I made a cardi for my dad last year with exact same yarn. Love the color...so rich!
