Question for Sock Knitters
I have a question for experienced sock knitters. I'm making a pair of socks for a woman with large (size 10-11 and extra wide width) feet. Said person is not anywhere near so that I can check the fit of the socks. The pattern I am using gives 3 sizes, child's medium, women's medium, and men's medium. My question is, since her feet are so large, should I make the men's medium size? Or should I just try to go by general measurements for feet that are her size? On the size guide listed here
it says that the measurements for a size 10 women's wide are the same as a men's 9 wide. Would that be a men's medium? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, I'm a 6'1" woman with large feet, made wider due to injury. I usually make a men's size 10.5 for my size 12 foot, and add an extra row or two in the foot 'just to be sure', it always works out. This extra row allows stretch to allow for width around my rather large novelty sized feet.

Hope this helps!
