Cut or not to cut
I am an intermediate knitter, who can make anything if following a pattern and so I did. My instructor gave me directions for a round neck cardigan and my sweater was to be a low V neck.
The picture that was with the sweater I gave her was a V neck. I found the pattern in a fine Knitting book and she just converted the pattern for me. Now that I have completed the basics to the sweater, and she put it together, I realize it is not correct. She suggested I have her cut it with pinking sheers and it would be ok. Any suggestions or opinions on this. I am so scared.
Lots of cables and weave pattern in the sweater. What would you do?

Look at the section on steeking, it is sticky in the questions threads. If it isn't wool you will have to sew first.

Sorry Bethany, I deleted your post because it makes absolutely no sense on it's own like that. I think replying here and your PM should be fine.
