flip top mitten in progress...slow progress

I'm not doing much after one month of knitting, but I wanted to try doing my own pattern of some flip top mittens. I'm only able to do a little at a time. Too much homework for school..lol
I took this with my webcam, not a great pic. I'll take the finished mitts with my daughter's digital.
