am i doing something wrong?
ok, so this may sound really silly. I finished knitting some dishcloths and i wanted to learn how to purl so i watched the video and gave it a shot. Is it supposed to look the same as the knit stitch, or am i doing something really wrong?!? help!

A purl is just a knit backwards. If you do all purls and turn it over it will look like all knits. The difference in the two isn't really obvious unless you combine them and can see them together. A knit is sort of raised as compared to a purl but like I said it's hard to see unless you put them together in the same piece.

Try some 2x2 ribbing and it will be very obvious to you.

Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.
