turning a stitch
I am making this Marsan Watchcap..and have come to the 25th row...where it says TURNING the stitch

http://www.redlipstick.net/knit/martext.html

what does she mean...
Turn, accomplished like this: Purl the last stitch on the round, bring yarn to the back of the work, slip one stitch from the left needle to the right one, bring yarn to the front of the work, slip the stitch back to the left needle. Push your knitting through the middle of the needles, make sure your yarn is in back of the work, ready to knit the first stitch of the new round. Now your knitting is turned around, and what was the inside of the hat is now the outside.

PUSH YOUR KNITTING THROUGH??? I don't get it

Thanks,
MP

Did you try to do it? Sometimes while doing it the instructions become apparent.

Push your knitting through the circle of needles, so that instead of hanging down, it's pointing up. Then flip the whole thing over.

I think that since it's ribbed, you don't see any real difference, but in reality when the edge is turned up, now all the stitches will be facing the same direction. Any difference now would just look like the V's are going in the opposite direction.
