Can you help me with this blanket pattern?
Hello everybody!
So I'm a begginer in knitting and all I can be really proud are...well my scarves. So I decided to take a challenge with a baby blanket (even though i cheated taking a yarn that stripes itself =) )

So here is the pattern. I have a little trouble understanding it because:
*After I cast 110 sts, i should increase stiches?
*The pattern says 1st and 2nd row instruction, those i should consider after knitting the 9 first rows?

INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 110 sts.
Work 9 rows in garter st (knit every row), noting that
first row is WS and inc 10 sts evenly across last row.
120 sts.
1st row: (RS). Knit.
2nd row: K10. Purl to last 10 sts. K10.
Rep last 2 rows until work from beg measures 34 ins
[86.5 cm], dec 10 sts evenly across last row and ending
with RS facing for next row. 110 sts.
Work 9 rows in garter st.
Cast off knitwise (WS).

Hope you can help me. Big thanks!

Yup, you're right on both questions. Knit 9 rows in garter, and on the 9th one you should increase 10 stitches evenly spaced across the row. (I think if you do a KFB on every 11th stitch you'll get what you need) Then after those 9 rows, start with "row 1".
