Odd thing stuck to my shoe

Today it's a little cooler so I was wearing a pair of hiking boots around town to do my errands. I came out of Walgreen's pharmacy and stepped on something that stuck in the thick treads of the shoe. I lifted my foot up to see what it was and it was someone's molar, roots and all, not a child's tooth!!! How the heck do you just lose a molar? And worse, why leave it on the ground?!

That's funny! My guess is someone had their wisdom teeth extracted. When I had mine done, the dentist asked me if I wanted to keep them. I brought them back home and showed them to my boyfriend. It's a good thing I didn't lose them on the way!

You definitely don't see that every day, that's for sure!

Nope, I didn't inflict harm upon anyone.
Funniest part is obviously I didn't take the nasty thing with me, I just flicked it out of my shoe with a stick and left it on the parking lot. Someone else will get the job of finding it.

That's probably how it got there in the first place. Who knows how far that poor tooth has traveled in the treads of various hiking boots.
