FO Berroco Arctic Throw!
Yes Folks, it's finally finished. This is the blanket that I knit for the DBF's grandma for Christmas. It was knit on size 13 needles with Patons Shetland Chunky in Steel Blue (the darker blue), Sea Ice (the lighter one) and Frosted Rose. It's sort of "grandma" looking, but I think she'll really like it. It's nice and soft and she's not expecting it at all!
It's sort of hard to take a picture of the whole blanket, so the one is a close up and the other shows a little more of the entire blanket.

that's really pretty!
i think some of the best gifts to give are the ones that are unexpected. first there's the initial shock you get to watch unfold on their faces as they realize what you've done for them, then they tell you how much they l ve it. enjoy giving it!
