I missed this when you originally posted it - that is ADORABLE!! I wish I had thought of something like that when mine where tiny. And Gillian is a beautiful baby!

Thanks. :D it was a lot of fun, I have never knitted something kind of blind before. The hat was basic, but the eye was totally guess work.

Oh she really did. She begged me to have it arrive in time so that it would be the hat Gillian wore home from the hospital. It literally arrived in the nick of time, as when she got it on Friday, an hour later her contractions started, and the baby was out by Sunday. Soooo glad the mail didn't hold off till Monday.
