Glittens are done! 3 pics
info first
yarn = KP essentials in Tuscany and Riverbed (both selfstriping)
worked on dpns - the left glitten used sizes 0, 1 and 1.5, holding both yarns in left hand; the right glitten used 0, 1.5 and 2, holding the red in right hand, blue in left (and imo, the right looks much better, not sure if pics will show the differences)

and now, pics!
backs

palm side

open!

Those are really nice. Great job!

I have a pair of store bought mittens that open like that. Now that I've seen yours I may just have to take a stab at knitting some.

Oh! Those are so awesome!!!! I tried knitting myself a pair once, but I only got as far as one glove minus the mitten cover. All of the ends to weave in were way too daunting.

Very amazing job!!

I LOVE those! Is there a pattern anywhere? You did such a good job.

Go for it! Pattern is here and they were fun to knit!

I used fingering weight, but you would likely use sport or worsted, and follow a similar chart (unless you want flowers........)

The stranding means that they are basically double thick - very nice and warm! Plus, I now love stranding - not only for the looks, but because I hate weaving in ends, and stranding means that the inside is already a mess, you just add the ends to the strands and you're done, yay!

Very nice, and I love the colorway. Couldn't tell the difference between the two, though. Only 'mom' could, probably.

Thanks for the link to the pattern.
