I love the knitted and crocheted hat patterns, but they look awful on me the beanie type ones). I'm 48, and I would love to find something that I would actually wear. Anyone see anything different?
Check out the hat that I just posted in 'finished projects'.. it's a sloppy, loose beret type of hat... and I look very DORKY in hats and this is one that actually looks 'ok' enough, that I might be able to wear it w/out people turning and pointing.

Try ***this one***, too, if you want something other than a beret, and if the hat doesn't have to cling to your head (I ride a bike alot, so that's an issue).
I've included a link for the pattern in the photo description.
