Hat that looks good on anyone
I love the knitted and crocheted hat patterns, but they look awful on me the beanie type ones). I'm 48, and I would love to find something that I would actually wear. Anyone see anything different?

I don't care for most hats, but I like the `slouchy' beret type ones. You can find a pattern here - and other pattern links here

slouchy hat
Great! I think that would work for me! And I have some wool I can use. Thanks so much!

Check out the hat that I just posted in 'finished projects'.. it's a sloppy, loose beret type of hat... and I look very DORKY in hats and this is one that actually looks 'ok' enough, that I might be able to wear it w/out people turning and pointing.

I knit this hat
Have yet to felt it (forgot about it until your post!) I think I will do it today or tomorrow while I'm off.

There are several more hats listed right here over on the pattern tab -give them a look-see.

This beret pattern is nice and I love the colors of the Taos yarns.

Here's another from Lion

Here's a hooded scarf

Hope you find a pattern you like!

Try ***this one***, too, if you want something other than a beret, and if the hat doesn't have to cling to your head (I ride a bike alot, so that's an issue).

I've included a link for the pattern in the photo description.
