WIP - cabled sweater
This is Welcome Back, Old Friend in Lamb's Pride worsted, color Victorian Pink. One whole repeat of the Saxon Braid, plus a couple of rows.

Here was mine, finished -- sorry it is blurry; if I used the flash, you can't see the cables. I actually regret making the sleeves long enough for my BF to wear because he doesn't. I am thinking of taking them off and shortening them (a bit too thick to just roll up for me!)

Carrie, that looks great! I bet you could snip the thread at the bottom of the sleeves, unravel a few rows and then bind off- might be easier than actually taking the sleeves off. You definitely shouldn't leave that beautiful sweater in a drawer.

Thanks for all the kind words! This is my first sweater, my first cables, and my first charts.

That's looking wonderful!

Thank you for reminding me about this pattern, too. I knew there was a cabled sweater that I'd planned some yarn for, but I couldn't remember.
