I've always loved that pattern but never made it. Yarn color is amazing and you're doing fabulous job!

Carey, that is going to be GORGEOUS! I love the color, too, even if it's not from an 8 lb. cone. You're doing a beautiful job with your first cables. I'd love to do just the saxon braid on a scarf. Hmmm.

Carey, this is a beautiful pattern and you are doing such a grand job too. I looked at the pattern and it calls for a different yarn. I didn't notice it stating whether the yarn was a worsted or else. How did you know that LP worsted would be a good substitute? Did you go by your gauge? And do you have an idea of how much of the LP you will need to finish it? I understand that patterns are usually there to sale a certain brand of yarn, but I do wish they would state the type or # of the yarn they are using so those of us that have to subsitute can do so more easily.
