Let's start with listing our resolutions...
I wish all of you (and myself) very good luck, and hope you have a pleasant and successful 2008! I'd like to thank you all for putting up with some of my not-so-good challenges, and thanks for letting me do them in the first place.
Braden, thanks for giving us challenges! I think it's a great idea. Unfortunately for me, being challenged sometimes means i wimp out, and pretend i never signed up for the challenge
This i want to do this year and how i hope to get it done:
1. knit a lace shawl/stole. I have signed up for the Secret of the Stole II.
2.Learn to knit from a chart. I want to knit the quivit scarf in the IK holiday issue as practice for the stole.
3.Learn to knit color work with two hands. Currently i knit continental. I'd like to use this method to make my mom the Snowflake socks from IK.
4.I also want to finish more WIPs. I have about 8-10 OTN. I need to CO less
5.Finish my Drops jacket, since I'd like to wear it while it's still cold!
6.I'd also like to knit up enough socks to not need to BUY socks. This also means i'll have to buy more sock yarn!
Guess i'll know what my reward yarns will be for stash busting
7. Dye more yarn (to sell... probably direct through my blog instead of etsy.
