KnittingHelp Monthly Challenge - January

Most def!!!

1.) Stop giving up on UFOs. I do this frequently.
2.) Knit from my yarn stash without buying anymore yarn! This means a major stash-busting project because I have so many different colors to where there isn't enough for one single solitary knit.
3.) Not being afraid of trying something I have never done before... like conquering intarsia. =/
4.) Knitting more cabled patterns... I don't do nearly enough of those!
... And more stuff that will probably come to me later ! =]

I would like to join...!

1) Finish the dishcloth I started (and frogged and started over).
2) Learn to knit cables
3) Learn to knit two socks at once on one long circular

I know this is a small list, but I have an even longer one for all my crochet endeavors!

I am still working on determining inventory and finishing things I ran out of time for that were supposed to be for Christmas.

However, a friend sent me a late Christmas present, which I received on Wednesday afternoon (almost evening). A gift card for Joann.com or Joann Fabrics stores. Although what I needed was advertised in my area the store near me doesn't carry them so I went on line and used my gift card that way.

I now have ordered a rolling yarn tote, and once it arrives, I'll be able to organize my knitting a lot better. I have no "knitting corner" like some have referred to. I haven't a closet I can stash my yarn into, either. I don't have a huge stash. I have mostly leftover yarn from other projects that I have completed, and yarn bought for specific projects that I haven't had a chance to make yet.

One mitten is almost finished.

I still have one tennis sock started.

Many projects on my to do list, but not cast on until I finish one of the above projects.

I have finished one mitten except for the thumb. I did that while having my hair done today. Hence, the new avatar picture. Compliments of dd21 who took a few for me to pick,

God willing,
1. Mail out the items I knitted in 2007 that are still waiting to be sent.

2. Finish writing up pattern designs and post the ones I have promised.

3. Complete any unfinished 2007 projects. Including the 2nd Greenhowe Nativity set, Eris, 2 Greenhowe pirate dolls (need assembly only), and 1 Greenhowe teddy bear (need to find the parts and assemble)

4. Keep knitting off the long list of grandchildren wants

5. Reorganize my stash. I got rid of my "knitting cellar" when we made room for my daughter's floor loom, so now I need to find a new set up.

2) Finnish my shawl (it's for me )
3) Finnish my second sock for hubby!

That's it for right now. We'll see how it goes this should be okay things keep getting in the way of my knitting. So I will keep my list small.
