Wanna knit a No-Seam Tank Top ?
This pattern is named 'LACE NIGHTIE' (free pattern in pdf format) in the Spring 2007 issue of Interweave Knits, but every sample of it (that I have seen knitted from the pattern) seems to fit more like a camisole or tank top. That's what I had in mind when I made it, and let me tell you,......I'm not at all disappointed. Shying away from seams (I've been a seamstress most of my life......I took up knitting for a CHANGE from sewing !), I thought I'd give it a go.
Take a look at the results..........I just wore it today, wouldn't even take the time to block the curl out of the edges,........and I LOVE IT ! It's a mix between a vest, a camisole, an apron, and a tank ! So much versatility !
