Forgive me if this has been asked before. I searched and didn't find the answer.
I'm a newbie making a striped scarf that requires 250 cast on stitches. In my knitting books it says that when you use circulars you need to make sure that the knots remain straight otherwise your work will twist.
Like, do I have to keep an eye on that on every row? If yes, then I'm guessing that I can just keep straightening as I work through the row, since the stitches are moving all over the place. Yes?
So far I've started over twice and now I'm going for three, so any other helpful notes or advice appreciated.
