QOTD: Currently, I'm knitting on my camisole with gussets, my brocade leaves cardigan and socks. I just finished my montera coat but I still have to take a picture from that one.

Dustina, great to hear from you. How's the moving going?

Jess, good to hear you're almost settled.

Well, I just started my last day off. The weather finally improved (it's been raining for 2 weeks) so I think you can find me outside today. But first I need some breakfast and some knitting time. I hardly felt like knitting for the last 2 weeks, but now that I'm almost about to start the job, I really want to knit. Guess it's because of the nerves (can you tell, I was awake at 6 a.m. this morning)

eta: wow, I made the 10.001th post on page 101...we're really chatty

Good Morning Socksters!

It's raining today so that has put a damper in my carrying stuff down the hill to the garage lol.

Lieke~that is so pretty! You did a great job. The move is coming we are putting a dent in it...yesterday I went over to the house and just diddled in the kitchen getting it all set up...it was nice to enjoy the house instead of working/carrying/unloading stuff.

Julie~Can't wait to see her pictures!

Emily~I'm no good with hair decisions I don't do much with mine either...been cutting it short for the past several months to break my pony tail habit...hrmm maybe that is wear Roo gets it . I can't wait to see her quilt and YAY for applying to U.Mass at Dartmouth

Chris~ love the smurf question

Hi everyone miss reading your posts!

Today I'm going to clean this house up some and move the stuff in the storage upstairs to the dinning room here so when it stops raining I can carry it down the hill to the garage. Yesterday the kids went for a deep in the pool...then we went down to the barn I'm trying to get the kittens to be tame...there is a set of 3 that looks like they are about 6wks maybe...they are eating dry cat food...and one will now let me pick her up (although she won't come to me I have to chase her down) yesterday I picked up another little one and it tore me up...then we have 3 more kittens that just got their eyes open Monday...so I've been petting them daily in hopes they will be tame. We fed the cows their grain and played with the n'bors dogs. They let them run free when they are not inside and they are trying to break them for coming to our side...I told them not to worry about it they are yellow labs and just love the kids.

I think tonight I'm going to try and make dinner up there I cleaned down the kitchen/fridge yesterday...

Okey dokey better go get busy, hope you all have a great day of knitting

Lieke, that is AMAZING! Gorgeous! Just stunning! Wow! Great, great job!

Julie, Bailey looks great!

Dustina, hope the move goes fine and continues in the same way.

Hi everyone else!

If I don't post here for a little while, I'll be reading, but hovering. So I might post, I might not. I've been kinda busy (in the summer?!) with trying to keep my self hydrated, schoolwork that hasn't been assigned, trying to keep myself out of "groundation," as my friends call being grounded, and with KNITTING!! I'll get on occasionally, but if I'm not on for a little while, don't worry about m.e

Hope you all have a great morning/day/evening of knitting! :knit:

I'm here but not here. I've been reading but not posting, shame on me!

Julie: Bailey looks so cute!

Chris: Thanks for the jokes. They are so cute!

Dustina: Soon...... you will be a farm wife! We want pictures once the house is set up!

Sue: How are you doing? Hugs!

Lieke: Wow your Montera looks fabulous!

Ann: How are you doing? Hugs!

Hi Lisa! Hi Gina! Hi Rosemarie! Hi Carey!

I was out of town for a few days. My SIL-to-be had minor surgery and I went and took care of the kids while DD took care of her man. I took knitting with me but did not get any done.

DGD's recital is Sunday and I can't wait to see my little "skunk" (a hint on her costume for you) on the stage. On Monday we will go see FIL for Father's Day. The church is having a Mass for MIL that day so we will go for supper and then go to church after that. The following weekend I will be going to the trailer for a few days, to pay the man for the floor repairs. I can't wait to see how it looks. Boots will like being there as well. He loves the trailer.

Lieke, Montera looks great!

Julie, I LOVE Bailey's hair! She looks fabulous!

Rosalie, wow, busy summer!

Christine, great to see you! Sounds like you're busy too- I hope you're taking care of yourself along with everyone else.

Chris, I'm still giggling...

Well, I finished the first boring scarf last night at VBS! I'm going to take Gina's advice and do the 2nd one on larger needles, but I won't be starting that tonight. Tonight I'm going to hang out with a girlfriend and her baby while the kids are at VBS.

Boring - is it a lace scarf?

Am I glad that you did this. The way this week has been going I was afraid I would be blamed for breaking 10,000 and I have no idea how to fix it.

Chris- if only! Nope, I did a basket weave pattern, though you can't tell at all since it's boucle yarn. :P I would do lace if it would show- if only to keep me from dying of boredom!
