Hooray for pretty soft yarn at a great price with quick delivery !

I'm sitting here thinking ........ why do I have to wait to start a new pair of socks? There must be atleast 20 patterns in my file that I have been dying to knit, and I sit here acting like I can't start a sock just because I haven't received the Sockamania pattern yet. Is it fear of tying up a needle that I might need for that one? Sheesh !

OMG Dustina, I just shook my head when I saw that. Dang!!! I was kinda hopin that it would be kewl to be at least UP there n stuff, but after seeing all those fast fast fast german n swiss ladies just crankin em out. I kinda got discouraged.
O well, at least the first one is done, dispite having to go to a funeral (a Catholic one no less), and then having to go to the moose to help decorate for the kids Easter Party comin up in a couple weeks. The second sock should be a breeze, now that I've gotten the pattern memorized n all that good stuff.

Good Morning everyone, Happy Sunday!

I was gone most of the day yesterday. Went out the a LYS that was kinda far. I love that store!! I only got a little knitting done there and no knitting when we got home.

I wanted to let ya all know that I did post pics of the finished sock yarn on my blog http://silegose.blogspot.com/

TK.. I love the red socks. I wish I could knit that fast

To all .. Our cats are in the dog house. Remember back when someone posted about the kitty's getting to their yarn... WELL, for the past week mine have been doing the same. I have some pretty clever cats no matter how I hide the yarn they still get into GRRRR.

Dotty.... I love the quilt. I made one once. That was my last one. It was a gift for my grandmother but she never got the finished goods. I might need to ship it to you to finish it. I will pay you!!

Dustina... what is skp?

happy all. I hope to get some in today!

thank you Lieke , the Pom is in Kureyon Sock. interesting texture, and yes it does do that Noro thick-thin-thick-thin thing, but so far it hasn't broken. I am afraid to tug on it hard tho.

QUESTION: If I do the ribbing on DH`s socks a 1X1, will they be less likely to fall down than the 2X2 that I did last time. Those socks are having a hard time staying up. Any opinions would be appreciated!

I've heard 2X2 is the stretchiest, but I don't know from experience. What about going down a needle size?
