Well, dangitol!!
We are definetely experiencing the infamous Colorado weather here today.
Get this, yesterday it was in the high 70's almost 80 degrees (that's F) and now today it's blowing hard enough to pop the power and snowing crazy. Blizzard, I think and the temps haven't gotten above freezing so far.
Yep, typical Colorado weather here. If ya don't like the weather wait ten minutes, it'll change.

Wow, 6 pages to catch up on! Let's see...

LOVE the quilt, it's gorgeous!
The.Knitter, those red socks are fabulous! Nice job!
What a sweet new puppy!
Silegose- lovely job on the yarn dying!

OH, I know I'm missing something else I wanted to comment on....
I can't wait to see the march sock pattern! I finally finished the 2nd baby sweater... I don't have my camera right now but I'll try to get a picture of it with my phone later. I also added to three of the oddball care shawls this week, mailed one of them on already but have 2 more to get in the mail. Now that I'm done with those, I guess I'll get to the 3rd (and final, for the moment) baby sweater, and to the march socks!

I know what I forgot-

GJ, what part of Texas are you in? Maybe we can get together if you need help on the stole? I'd be more than happy to help you out, and if I even get to meet you in the process, well, that would be icing on the cake!

Dotty I'm the same way about not wanting to start another sock until I see the March pattern...o well. Maybe tomorrow?
But the good thing is that my house is clean and the dog got a bath today and so I'm ready to start knitting tomorow (or Tuesday, depending on when the pattern gets sent out.)
The dog's name is Snickers (my fav candy bar)

Tami I think it was you that hadn't gotten your invite or confirmation email yet...I believe it says on the blog that as long as you join on or before the last day of the month then you'll be sent the pattern for the following month. & the weather here was so purty yesterday 70's and now we've finally reached 41!!! But it's blowin' to beat all heck!

Dustina I don't think I could do SKP either, maybe someday. But not now while the kids are in need of so much attention.

That's freaky.........even though I'm in the Central Time Zone, I have to designate Mountain Time for the posting time to be correct on my page.

Hi Abbily,
I'm in Sugar Land, southwest of Houston. You're in Austin, right? DH goes to there a lot for work. North Austin, I think...What part are you in?

Are you using 100% acrylic yarn? Someone on here (or maybe at my LYS) told me that acrylic yarn doesn't have 'memory' like wools do, so once they strech out, they don't bounce back into shape. The pair I made for DD were acrylic and nylon, and 2 x 2 rib for the whole sock. They streched out and stayed that way....huge. I know your allergic to wool too.....Sorry I'm not much help....

GJ~I'd be happy to help knit on the shawl too if you decide to send it around

Abbily~Yay for finishing the sweater. Can't wait to see pics. I did some knitting on the Oddball Blanket #3 and now I guess it's MIA somewhere in California.

dotty~I'm usually the same way although this month I had the SKP sock...

The.Knitter~ Great job!! I would go down a needle size and do a 1x1 rib...a 2x2 is a lot more stretchy...and also it could be the acrylic

Tami~I know whatcha mean lol ...stay warm!!

Silegose~On my blog I have a link to the SKP...you have 2 mos to complete a sock and get either 1,2 or3 rd place ...Bella gets my yarn all the time...she is a sneaky little thing she can even steal it from me while I'm knitting with it lol.

Julie~ YAY for knit time!! I told JD I guess I could stay up the next time so at midnight I'm just ready to knit...but who would watch the kids ...

Maybe they need a differen time ...I'm not sure what time it is overseas when it's midnight here...maybe that's why so many could start on it...cause we were sleeping...

Well here is my SKP sock...it's ready for the heel... I haven't been working on it much today...it's been nice here so we went for a walk and I've been trying to clean and catch up on some laundry...
