Jackie, thank you for asking. Emily is fine and as bouncy as always. She was treated to a 3 hour "waddle" around the mall today with DH as we ran errands.

*note* errands means exchanging an XBox game, and going to 2 different stores to see how much we could get for it, as well as a jaunt around Wal Mart....the long way around the mall.

But yes, Emily is still very high up, and while head down, she's not coming out anytime soon....well wait...she better come soon, I'm down to 27 days.

Julie~ Too funny!

Knitgal~Your cat is sweet! Glad you had a nice weeknd with DBF's mom and sister. I have a great MIL and we get along great. The joke in my DH's family is that she likes me better than him. She has said that if anything every happened between DH and myself, she would blame DH first!

Morning Everyone!

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

On the needles: Not much
Finshed: Nothing lately

OMG, I am laughing so hard here there are tears running down my face!

knitgal: She is adorable. Does she mind riding in the truck? My cat loves to go to the trailer but cries all the way there (2-1/2 hours worth of meowwwwwwwww). It's a good thing you took the truck back to the mechanic that messed up the brakes. P.S. what did they do about the crack in the frame?

G J: someone is a very creative writer, if it isn't true she should make her living writing humour.

jberry: Thanks for the morning "chuckle". That was soooooooo funny. Thanks for sharing!

Lisa: good morning to you too!

I'm working on DH's socks, which are turning out wonderfully. The colourway makes them look like Fair Isle. He loves them so far. The smaller needles make a really nice fabric, but it is slow knitting as the stitches are so small. I'm at 5" on the leg so far.

I have a pretty nasty cold, so I am not functioning at top capacity today. Between the coughing and the laughing every time I think of that e-mail I am finding it a bit hard to breath right now.

Back to my socks!
I love to give homemade gifts... which one of my kids do you want?

Jenny glad to hear Emily is doing fine, she should drop any day, don't you think? Keep walking when you can.

Glad y'all liked the wax story, I thought it was too funny not to share, esp with most of us being women. I still find myself laughing when I think of it. True or not, who knows. I personally don't know anyone who has a phone installed in their bathroom. I always have my cell with me though.

I still don't have my sockamania pattern, hummm. If she's in the UK she's about 7 hours ahead of me (mountain time) so it's 2:45 pm there. Maybe she has to wait 24 hours before she can email more . I'll keep checking. (Dotty I almost sent you another email yesterday but didn't b/c you probably didn't get your pattern either).

I've seen that waxing story before, but it still has the power to make my cry, I'm laughing so hard!
