That is a great looking sock. Congrats! Yes, your man is spoiled, just like mine. Keep up the good work.
I CO my second sock this morning and am ready to start knitting. I have two weeks until Valentine's Day so I am not stressed. I will have no trouble getting it done, barring any complications. The first sock was CO on Saturday of a week ago, so it took me one day less than a week. Keeping in mind that was my first sock ever, this one should not take as long (I hope).

 Good Morning Socksters!!
Julie~ YAY on finishing up dh's sock!!
Jodi~Thank you...You should give 2 colors a try... and really this pattern I think is a good starting place...you are knitting with a dk weight and size 2 needles...the pattern is very well written ...It was in Interweave's Fall issue...
LGM~ Welcome to the KAL ...that is what I consider a colorway...but I often wonder if I'm wrong ...in the wip/fo forum you will see me say pretty colorway...then next time pretty colors
The.Knitter and Knitgal~ Great jobs!!
Lieke~ I have that problem too...I thought dotty posted a new way in the old KAL but I couldn't find it...I looked it up on google and found a lot different ways...here is one from wendyknits
Carla~ Guess what? They had an opening in SAM5 so I get to join
I had my sockamania pattern waiting on me this morning...it's so pretty... I want to CO now...but I need to start hedgehogs and finish mittens ...
I hope you all have a great day of knitting!!

Guess what the DBF said when he put on his sock?
"It feel like lingerie for my feet"
HAHAHAHAHA!!!
I don't think he realises that most lingerie is not made for comfort , just style!

Ok so I've decided after talking to the ped. last night that she's ok, and she meant that she didn't want to see us sick anymore. I asked her last night.
Ok so I got my sockintine pattern and am soooooooo excited!
Lieke, this is the sewn toe up cast off that was from the first kal thread (I think)
Got errands to run today and then hopefully I can knit through the superbowl!

Tell him most lingerie is made from silk or satin or some nasty nylon, but his socks are made from wonderful, warm, soft and cozy wool. I think he gets the better of this deal!

Knitgal, your sock looks really great.
Thanks dustina and jberry, I'll check both cast off methods out when I'm ready. Hopefully they'll be stretchy enough.

Leike, here's another method from Silver with a good tutorial. I've used it. Do it loosely and you'll be all set!
