Hi Jackie: There are usually chocolate bunnies and if the grandchildren are here there is a candy hunt. Supposedly the Easter Bunny leaves candy all over the house and the children are given baskets and told to find the candy. Then we have a turkey supper.

The children are not coming this year, they have other plans. DH and I will have a small turkey meal and give each other a chocolate bunny. Nothing special this year.

Good for Julie! She'll be able to wear them for Easter after all.

I have no children so my DW and I are joining some friends, who are empty nesters, and going out for a nice dinner.

WOOHOOO!!!!! Julie them look great!!!
I noticed that you did four repeats of the cable for the entire sock. Ummm I followed the pattern and did four repeats just for the cuff and another 3 for the foot. (No wonder mine are as long as knee sox. LOL). That's probably why mine took more yarn than most of ya'lls. I finally made it past the second gusset and am on the home stretch now.
I made em so that either my hubby or my dad could wear em and they both have big feet. Hubby, 13's and Dad 15's

Wow Julie, those look great! Good job.

Fibrenut they will get lots of use then if either of them can wear them.

Cacunn, I have children but they have LIVES so we won't be seeing them this weekend. DH has children as well but they also have LIVES. Oh well, their loss. We get all the turkey and stuffing to ourselves!

Just finished my first repeat on Mock Cable Sock #1. It's coming along alright and I understand the pattern. It actually looks like what it's supposed to look like as well, which is a bonus!

TK... Dont worry. I would love to come for dinner Turkey and stuffing mmmmmm good. My parents said we are going to go to Old country Buffet.. If I would have known I would have had the dinner here. OH well.

Julie... Your socks look great!! Very spring like colors.

Jackie... We usually have a nice easter dinner at on of the parents house... Since we were in Ohio this xmas I was not going for easter. It is very tuff to travel on the holidays when you have kids and gifts or treats to give.

cacunn .. I hope you have a terrific dinner!!

Dotty... Oh Dotty... were are you? I hope all is OK.

Hiya Silee,
I just received the invite to be able to post on the blog but that's it so far. I was hoping to be able to get to post my FO sox so that they count. I sure hate doing all this work on these and not be able to post them.
I hope that I get the invite soon. That would be awesome.

Julie that's cute. I hope I do go into labor on Monday. Otherwise, I'm scheduled for a c-section on Tuesday. I showed DH how to come here and post an update.

I've done two repeats of the lacy mock cable pattern (which is quite easy). I think it's time for bed. Have a great night and a Happy Easter tomorrow! I hope the Easter Bunny is good to all my KH friends.

Holy cow, check it out. I'm #2000!!!
