Julie, LOVE those socks!!! Nice cables!

Jackie, we celebrate Easter by going to church (which we do every Sunday) and having a nice family dinner. This year, my in-laws are visiting, so I'm making ham, a potato dish, asparagus, applesauce, rolls.....and birthday cake for dessert, since it's MIL's b-day!

HAPPY EASTER, FRIENDS!

Good morning and Happy Easter everyone,

sue.. your dishcloth and socks look great!!

TK... I started to CO for the mock cable last night. I will work on them more tonight after the easter dinner is done.

Fibrenut... Thank goodness. It would have been very disappointing if you were not able to post after all the work done. If I dont get one by the middle of the week I will send a message asking were they are in the process. I am sure she is just as busy as the rest of us.

Gina... and all enjoy your easter dinner.

happy

Happy Easter!!!!!!!

Dustina said that she read on ravelry that the sockamania google group invite wasn't gonna be done until sometime in May.

Dishcloths look great!
& pretty socks too!

Fibrenut those are some big feeted men you have!

We're fixin to go to Grandmas for lupper (lunch & supper) so I'm making this a short post. Kids hunted Easter eggs yesterday & we were at church early this morning-1/2 hour earlier than normal so we could get a seat-we got there at 6:30...needless to say the kids are napping. Their 'adopted' grandparents gave them Easter baskets & they got inot their candy right after breakfast. Bailey cried when I took off her Easter dress because she wanted to play outside and we have mud from the sprinklers and I can't let her ruin her Easter dress-Caitlin has to wear it (probably next year).

Jenny glad to hear you're scheduled for a c-section, good luck! Hope you go in either tonight or tomorrow & she's born vaginally~that's what I'd rather anyway. We'll be ing for you all.

Dotty must be busy since she's not on here posting...

Gina did you find any buttons yet?

Happy Easter, Socksters!!

Julie~ YAY for being able to wear them today...I couldn't see the picture on here but I could on your blog

Allison~Thank you for the info on the Hiyas

Devon~I don't like to swatch either...and there was a time I wouldn't...but after making several things HUGE I do now lol...

Gina~I like to be outside to...I hope they feel better soon...and you guys have a great visit with your inlaws

The.Knitter~ I can't wait to see the new socks

Silegose~I hope you can get to the other socks soon...I know what you mean it is very hard to travel with kids...we go home for Christmas too...and always wonder how will we get home with all the gifts

Tami~ YAY your almost done!!

Chris~ that was cute...Charlie Brown? thank you!

Jenny~ you guys are in my prayers!! I've had both ways...and because of my complications with Isaiah...I recovered a lot fast with the c-section...with Isaiah I was down for a good month, couldn't move to well at all...with Roo I was up the same night walking around and doing my own thing...

Sue~Very pretty!!

Jackie~Easter usually starts on Friday (Good Friday) when Jesus died on the cross...then we celebrate today for his resurrection...for the kids we have the Easter bunny who basically brings chocolate and little odds and ends...they wake up on Sunday to their baskets filled...we dye Easter eggs and hide them on Sunday too...Then there is usually a big dinner on Sunday...Most have ham...but we have Chicken ...I took some pictures that I'll upload some after I post this

We had a great time with my parents...it just goes by so fast...they had to work on Friday and tomorrow...so they came up and have already left to go home. We went out yesterday to the LYS while WVU played and mom got herself some pretty sock yarn...and some wool to make a Hemlock ring...I got a crochet dishcloth book cause I really want to learn...after mom looked at it, she took it home so she cold try a few of the patterns...that way she can walk me through them over the phone...so tomorrow I'll go get me another book ...she is hoping to come up towards the end of April or May...spend more time ...then it will be almost June and we will be going home a lot

I showed her how to work Magic loop...but I think she is going to wait till I'm in over the summer so I can help her with the heel...tonight we will have another big dinner of leftovers

I hope you all have a great day of knitting and Happy Easter

Sue, I love the socks! Great colors!

Happy Easter everyone!

I started a new pair of jaywalkers. I finished the first sock yesterday and I'm 4 inches into the leg of the second. I want to get them done by tomorrow, my Knit Picks order will be here! But I know that I probably won't have them done. I bought yarn for 5 projects, including two pairs of socks for me!

Congrats Fibrenut on getting your socks done.

Here is a picture of my first ever lacy type sock, in otherwards not a plain sock. This pattern is called Lacy Mock Cable Socks. I am pleased with how they are coming along.
