Hope you feel better soon, Sue!
Julie, it is SO GOOD to be able to knit again! Portuguese knitting has changed my life! Did I tell y'all that I taught my mom how to do it and now she's knitting again, too? She also has arthritis VERY bad in her hands.

Sue hope you feel better.
Gina: no you didn't tell us you'd taught your mom, what great news!
(ps you need to update your sig)
I have about 20 rounds done of sock wars sock #2, been busy cleaning the kids rooms (again)...told them this was the last time I was cleanin his room (Jacob primarily b/c he's old enough) & I'd tell them to clean their rooms, and whatevery they didn't think was good enough to put away I'd go in with a trash bag and take it. They assume I'll toss it, but I'll just put it int he attic (or Dh will) and then if they don't miss it, then before Christmas it will go to Good will...sounds good to me, what do you think?

Sue~I hope you feel better soon
Gina~That's great that you and your mom can knit again!! (tell your dh that the heels don't bite to bad )
Julie~I've thought about doing that as well...but JD says they do clean their rooms just not to my satisfication ...I have a place for everything and he says that is to much for them...so I have him check their rooms if they pass they get to either watch a show they like or something...if it doesn't then they don't...
Here is the first rainforest sock finished...I got the 2nd one CO today at the park...on my blog I posted photos of the tree that blew down last night and me at the park

Gina, my family would be glad to donate some rain to you. They're in Iowa (remember I'm still in Oz... I mean Australia). I grew up on the Miss, too, Carla, (and I've got a photo of me standing on a median strip in 93, surrounded by water, to prove it) so hope things go well down in Quincy. my home is fortunately up on the bluff, so we never get so much as water in the basement (except the time my brother forgot to replace the downspouts after mowing the grass), but the whole area is a disaster.
Thinking about joining SAM 6... not sure though, I may not have enough money to buy sock yarn each month.
By the way, all of you cleaning your electrical contacts: Did you know there are contacts on your ink cartridges in your printer? Did you clean them?

I just checked there must be 20 contacts on a print cartridge and two cartridges. I can tell each must be cleaned separately.
I think I need a case of cleaning fluid.

 Good Morning Socksters!!
Happy Father's Day!!
Jess_hawk~ If you knit a sock for that month then you get entered into a drawing but I don't think you have to make one every month
I'm battling my allergies/sinus this weekend...Friday was a bad day but yesterday I felt better...this morning I woke up being all stuffed up and coughing my head off...nothing much planned for today...the kids already given JD their gifts...I need to call my dad and start on his gift so it will be ready on Sunday when I see him...
I hope you all have a great day of knitting

Feeling a bit better today, thanks.
Dustina: Very pretty sock.
Gina: Glad that both you and your mother can knit again.
Here are my two waiting for their partners. The bottom one is in Regia which I hadn't used before and really like. Most of my socks are very plain. I find them more comfortable to wear.
