Aha, so my quick 'scan and think' was on target that time.........you ARE a silly goose !
By the way, The.Knitter, I just realized that I didn't answer you.........to do garter-stitch in the round, you knit one round, and then purl the next. On these socks, I caston 68 stitches, and then began with a purl round, and went another 6 rounds for 7 altogether ending with a purl round. Then on the next knit round, I increased 4 stitches on each of the two needle points, spreading the increases out evenly, giving me the final count of 76 stitches for my Jaywalker cuffs.

But does anyone have a nice hat pattern for my DD age 7? She asked me to make her a hat since she was the only that didnt get one for xmas. I bought two skeins of nero silk garden. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Im not good as know what type of yarn im using... in one of the books that I have for noro tension is 18 st and 24 rows on size 8 needle. I was thinking about holding 2 strands together.
