Hi all! What a week... jury duty, three days worth... a nasty criminal trial. Plus a kiddie concert with the orchestra I play in this afternoon.

But there was a tiny bit of knitting here and there.... I'm most of the way through the gusset decreases:

As you can see, I also have the dreaded hole at the top corner of the gusset, so I'll try sewing that up when it's all done.

The fit seems OK, which is good because I kind of cheated on the size. I didn't get the right gauge, so I just move down to the next lower size in the pattern.

Great looking sock Steve. Way to go!

Don't you just hate it when life interferes with your knitting? LOL!
I love to give homemade gifts... which one of my kids do you want?

Here's a pic of my hubbies size 13 slippers I made for him today.
I put the scissors in so you could tell just how big them are. Those are standard size.

Good Morning Socksters!!

Julie~ the socks look wonderful!! I had almost forgotten about the CW shawl too ...I'm curious to what the March pattern is...I remeber reading somewhere that made me thing it might be for a man...or maybe a tease cause this one was def for a woman

Tami~ Can't wait to see the socks and dh's slippers look great

dotty~ YAY for no surprises!! We are back to gray skys now... I'm so ready for spring!!

The.Knitter & Lieke~ So glad that you guys could do that

Gina~I can't wait to see your socks

Silegose~That's a very pretty sweater pattern

Jackie~YAY!!! You will have finished socks before you know it...I did 3 repeats before the heel...I didn't do a gusset though I did the Sherman short row...then finished up with 3 repeats on the leg...the cuff is cool cause she has you twist the knit sts very neat and pretty...

SteveDallas~They look wonderful ...

Carla~ Which sock are you working on now? How is the Hemlock coming?

Yesterday we went out and celebrated JD's raise and bonus ....Also we ordered a couch I'm sooo excited!! Good bye Futon...that thing drives me crazy cause the cushion always slips down and I can't just leave the cushion down and the throw blanket across messed everyone has to get up so I can fix it...Roo told me I'll be glad when we get the couch so you won't have to fix it anymore...the futon is my BIGGEST Pet Peeve...

I also worked on my Civil War shawl...When I started on Sat I was on Rnd 108...I have worked several long hours on this thing and I'm only to Rnd 116... a pattern worked rnd takes almost an hour... a knit rnd takes about 1/2 hr...I have 161 rnds before I can finish the edging ...but it will be worth it when I get this thing finished!!

Hope you all have a great day of knitting!!
