Well things are back normal [?? whatever that is] with my wife back from a successful productino in England and my parents back to North Carolina. Friday night was fun--we had 7 people and 3 birds in our 3-bedroom house!!

I need a small crochet hook too. My socks are going well, but I missed the twist stitch on one round. When I dropped those 2 stitches to go back 2 rows and fix it, I ended up dropping the stich next to it & didn't notice it till the next round so I had to do it AGAIN and I was just using a tapestry needle. It was a mess (still looks a little scruffy) but it'll survive. This is about 1/2way through the second repeat of the cable pattern.

QOTD: I'm the director of IT (computer stuff with some phones thrown in for good measure) at a small seminary. My wife doesn't have a "9-5" job she goes to, but she plays keyboard & piano for one service a week each at two different churches (three for the moment) and does freelance transcription jobs.

Gina that apron is cute. Walmart has a shelf of $1 a yard fabric here, do they there too? I love that shelf. Your kitchen is really pretty too.
