Here's the 4 bridesmaids with the bride. Lisa, me, Tricia (the bride) Emily & Therese. (I really hate the way my bangs look & am contemplating getting them cut like Emily's; what do you all think?)

The punch, Lisa made & put a big red ice heart in to keep it cool.

The heart shaped cupcakes in blue & silver (wedding colors) Emily & Therese made.

The veggie tray that Grandma cleaned for me & Tricia & I arranged.

The fruit tray that I was so proud of. Mango, strawberries, kewi, cantelope & grapes + fruit dip.
Fruit Dip Recipe
8oz cream cheese softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 white sugar
1tsp vanilla
8-10 oz package of toffee bits Heath or Skor (can be bough @ the store where the chocolate chips and nuts are)

Just stir it all together (no heating requred)

She tried cutting only 2 ribbons, but ended up cutting 4. They say for each ribbon you cut at your bridal shower that's how many children you will have.

Here she is thinking it's a pretty piece of laungerie...

Surprise, they're a HUGE pair of undies (size 14). LOL

Glad she thought it was funny.

Here she is modeling them. Too bad they were about the same color as her dress.

Julie, glad the shower went well. Might it be easier to find a straight hairstyle that looks cute on her? She's such a cutie already! I like Emily's bangs..yours would look cute that way!

I've had a crummy day. I don't think I want to keep doing this homebound teaching. I had a stomach ache all day from the stress, I didn't get lunch, I was scheduled to see a kid for two hours who really can't tolerate more than 1 hour.....I think my boss is trying to push me out by making me miserable.

Do any of you have the pattern for Liesl? (Rav Link) I think I'd like it to be my next sweater, but I'd like to take a look at the pattern to make sure it will work....

Hi Socksters!

Julie~ Great pictures!! Love the gift

Gina~Your in my thoughts and prayers I wish I could have a word or two with your boss...making you feel that way is not fair or cool ...I hadn't seen that pattern before it looks cute

Lisa~I hate to read that and will keep her family in my prayers...

Lieke~I hope your finger is feeling better

Carey~Yeah Roo tends to be that way more than Isaiah...he is so easy going

QOTD~Please don't squeeze me, Please don't squeeze....

Hi Chris, Rosalie, Sue, Christine, Carla, Lady Vi, everyone

I can show you guys a sock picture now, try not to faint ok I still make them sometimes

This is the test knit that I just finished up it's Nebula by Cookie A. I was very excited to be included in the test knitters.

Yarn: Knit Picks Palette
Needle: Size 1 ML
I tested the LG right sock, another test knitter said her pair had like 1600 cables in it...there were a lot of cables...very cool sock and I'm working on the left in between lace repeats on the shawl...I'll get better pictures when they are both finished

Dustina that's a VERY pretty sock! To do Bailey's curls I cut up a large t-shirt into strips that were 3 fingers wide & the length was based on the width of the t-shirt. Then I cut those into 4 pieces, so each piece was about 9" by 1.5-2" then just wrap the damp hair around that and when you get to where you want the curl to stop or the scalp then tie the tshirt once. take out in the morning when the hair is dry. I did add some moose to it too.

Gina hope tomorrow is better. Is there another agency you could switch to? Or let the kids parents know that you're quitting but would be glad to tutor them privately? THe ones you like anyway.

Note on the dress, it's VERY poorly sewn. aweful job. I could have done better and I'm no seamstress by any way of the word.
