Popcorn stitch...same as bobble?

Hi all,
I'm stuck on how to do a popcorn stitch. Is this the same as a bobble?
My pattern says...in next stitch work (P1,K1,P1,K1);slip 2nd,3rd, and 4th st on right-hand needle over first st.
As a fairly new knitter I just haven't come across this stitch until now.

It's more like an increase and decrease in the same stitch. A bobble is an increase in one stitch, then you turn and knit a row, turn again, then do the decrease.
