Yarn Weight - Aran vs. Worsted???

I am thinking about making a Central Park Hoodie for ME. I like KP's WOTA so much that I would like to use that for the CPH. However, the pattern calls for aran and WOTA is worsted. Is there a real big difference between the Aran and worsted weights?

Worsted and Aran are synonymous.

If you get the gauge you need, it really doesn't matter what the wrapper says.
