Anyone ever use Moda Dea Cheerio Yarn?
Yarn Collection has Moda Dea Cheerio yarn on sale for $0.99/skein for certain colors or $7.90/bag of 10. I was just wondering if any one has used this yarn and if it was worth it.

Wonder why you have to hand-wash a 100% nylon yarn... hmm

Sorry, I've not seen it before.

Cute yarn! I find yarns like that hard to work with, though, so I usually buy just one skein and do a swatch.

I have TONS of Moda Dea dream yarn, which is similar (but fuzzier). It's a little stretchy, and the stuff I'm using is made of two different strings (if that makes any sense). One of them is slippier than the other, so it tends to get bunched up while you're knitting. Other than that it's lovely.

I have some Cheerio....
I admit I haven't used it yet, but I'm probably going to use it with a second yarn, holding both together. I have the silver, might put it with a black.

i just read on ravelry people's comments who have used this and they say there is almost no stitch definition with this yarn. It reminded one of those fuzzy socks you can get and another said she tried 8 different stitch types to try to get some definition. I saw hats, trims, socks, scarves, "critters", a Halloween outfit, legwarmers, wrist warmers (fetching actually) and one baby sweater that looked like a cloud! Cozy!
HTH!

I think that's a typo--everything else I see says machine washable...?

I am so sad that Moda Dea is being discontinued...everything but Washable wool...and something else...

They had a lot of nice yarns!
